"Right now, we are all standing in the same place. Not a physical place. A state of life where joy and suffering keep trading shifts. One day you are laughing with friends; the next you are staring at the ceiling at 2 a.m., feeling the weight of the world."The Path to Unknowing · Lesson 1

I grew up in a home that often didn't feel safe.

Somewhere along the way I started believing there was something wrong with me.

Then life finally gave me everything I'd been chasing. From the outside, it looked like I'd made it. Inside I was angry. Restless. Empty.

It took me years to understand what that emptiness was. Nothing had ever been fundamentally wrong with me. Nobody had simply taught me how my mind worked.

It was never your fault. It was never a disorder.

From the book:

"The truth was simpler: nothing about me was broken. My pain came from missing tools, wrong maps, and bad guidance about how life works. And what was true for me is true for you. Nothing in you is defective. The factory settings are fine. You just haven't been shown how to run the operating system."Lesson 1 · Nothing About You Is Broken

The author is not a monk and not a therapist. He built seven-figure companies from nothing and crossed more than eighty countries. He had the money, the status, the freedom, and a pane of glass between himself and all of it. It nearly cost him his life, twice. What followed was seven years of learning how the mind actually works, and this book. The manual he needed and never got.

What this book will teach you

  1. Why you overreact, and what is actually reacting
  2. Where your hardest feelings come from, and what they are trying to say
  3. The one place between impulse and action where you have a real choice
  4. How to stop fighting your mind and start working with it
  5. How to sit with anxiety until it hands you its message
  6. How to act when every feeling says run
  7. Why nothing on the outside ever filled the space, and what actually does
  8. How to test every bit of it yourself, in minutes a day

What the manual opens

This book is not for everyone

I would rather you close the tab now than buy something that was never meant for you.

It is for you if

  • You have done the work and still feel the gap
  • You hit the goal and felt nothing, and it frightened you
  • You suspect the problem was never discipline
  • You want to understand the machine, not be handed another belief

It is not for you if

  • You want a morning routine or a productivity system
  • You want someone to tell you what to believe
  • You want a guru. I am the wrong person and I say so in the first chapter
  • You are looking for a quick fix. This is slower than that

Asaf Oz, author of The Path to Unknowing

If there's one thing I hope you never take away from this book, it's the idea that I have the answers.
I don't.
I'm just someone who spent most of his life looking for them.

This book wasn't written because I figured life out.
It was written because I got tired of living in the same loops, asking the same questions, chasing the same promises that never seemed to deliver what they promised.

My story started long before business.
Long before travel.
Long before spirituality.

I grew up in a home that often didn't feel safe.
Then came school, where I learned what rejection, bullying and loneliness felt like.
Somewhere along the way I started believing there was something wrong with me.
That belief became obesity.
Then bulimia.
Then years of trying to become someone who would finally feel worthy of love, acceptance and peace.

The army taught me discipline, resilience and responsibility.
It also left me carrying battles long after I took the uniform off.

When I moved to London I had almost nothing.
There were days I genuinely didn't know how I'd pay rent or buy food.
I promised myself that one day I'd become successful enough that I'd never feel that fear again.

So I built businesses.
I became obsessed with growth.
I founded companies, built teams of more than a hundred people, helped grow multiple seven figure businesses, lived in fourteen countries and travelled to more than eighty.

Every goal became another mountain.
Every mountain revealed another one behind it.
I kept thinking happiness was waiting at the next achievement.

Then life finally gave me everything I'd been chasing.
I fell deeply in love.
My businesses were doing better than ever.
From the outside, it looked like I'd made it.

Inside...
I was angry.
Restless.
Empty.

For the first time I couldn't blame my circumstances.
I had everything I thought I wanted.
So why did something still feel missing?

That question changed the direction of my life.
I stopped trying to fix my life and started trying to understand the one living it.

For the next seven years I immersed myself in psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, meditation, spirituality, contemplative traditions and anything else that might help me understand why we suffer, why we repeat the same patterns, and whether lasting peace was actually possible.

Slowly something unexpected happened.
I realised nothing had ever been fundamentally wrong with me.
Nobody had simply taught me how my mind worked.
That single realization changed everything.

The Path to Unknowing is the book I wish someone had handed me years ago.
Not another philosophy.
Not another belief system.
Not another person asking you to follow them.
Just a flashlight.

An invitation to question what you've been taught, look beneath the stories you've carried for years, and discover that the peace you've been searching for was never waiting somewhere else.
It has been quietly waiting beneath everything you believed yourself to be.

If this book helps you remember even a small part of that...
Then every step of my journey was worth it.

"Remembering what was never lost."Asaf Oz

What actually happens on the call

  1. You tell me where you are. No form to fill in first.
  2. We take one thing you are actually carrying and look at it together.
  3. You leave with one thing you can actually use, whether or not we ever speak again.

Thirty minutes. No pitch, no script, and no obligation to continue. If it is not a fit I will say so on the call rather than after it.

The book is the manual. Some people want someone walking next to them while they use it.

I take a small number of people for one to one work. We start with a conversation, not a pitch: you tell me where you are, I tell you honestly whether I can help. If I cannot, I will say so and point you somewhere better.

  • A free 30 minute discovery call, no obligation and no script
  • One to one sessions built around your own patterns, not a curriculum
  • Direct access between sessions, so the work continues where life happens
